Peña cultural flamenca "El aguilar de Vejer", C/Rosario Vejer.
Dont miss the regular shows , the fab tapas and of course a great Local sherry at the bar. There are many different songs and dances in flamenco, but the fundamental ingredient is the duende. It is a spiritual experience, a bringing together of mind and music that creates a deep energy that inspires the dancer, which they then convey to the audience, the duende is felt not seen.

We are so close to Morocco it almost seems crazy not to make a visit, Tarifa offers a tempting opportunity for a quick approach to Morocco, with Tangier feasible as a day-trip by boat on the 5 times daily ferry . Tickets are available from the Tourafrica office (tel 956 684 751) on the quayside, or from travel agents along c/Batalla del Salado. The boat normally leaves at 9.00am, returning from Tangier at 4.00pm or 6.30pm (Spanish time – which is 2hrs ahead of Moroccan); check current times with Tourafrica or turismo office.
Crossing takes an hour, leaving you just enough time for a brief look around. An overnight stay probably makes more sense, especially as a return ticket costs around € 49. It's wise to book a few days ahead, as tour companies often take over the whole boat. This crossing is a lot more expensive than going from Algeciras, but might be a better bet if the latter is chock-a-block in summer or when Moroccans are returning home for the two major Islamic festivals (which rotate between January, February and March).

The province of Cádiz is famous for sherry, a classification which ranges from the dry, white manzanilla from Sanlúcar de Barrameda to the syrupy Cream sherry traditionally popular in England.
The officially designated sherry-producing region forms a triangle between Jeréz, El Puerto de Santa María and Sanlúcar de Barrameda.
You can visit many Sherry Bodegas in the area , these visits will generally include a film, guided tour of the cellars and bottling area, a sampling session and a visit to the shop. Tours generally last around 1-1.5 hrs. Some companies also arrange visits of the vineyards on request.

Barrio El Populo is said to be the oldest area of the city.
Barrio Santa Maria, meanwhile, is the home of flamenco .

“Wow. This is one of the dreamiest places we’ve ever stayed. The house is in a 14th century building and it just oozes with charm and character. The terrace has an amazing view of the town. We loved every second. Rebecca was very responsive and Victoria, her local assistant gave us incredible recommendations and guidance. She even found us a babysitter! Vejer is a magical town— loved wandering its beautiful streets. We hope to return someday. Thanks so much for sharing your special home with us!”
